My brothers,
As we travel through these days here, are we as brothers in Christ acting in unison to further His kingdom? The church seems to suffer some scrutiny as some of the different denominations have diverse stances on various issues.
There is no "quick-fix" available however, if we as Christians acknowledge our unified belief and dedication to what was done for us that faithful Friday so many years ago, we align our forces and become one unit, a viable and impenetrable defense against evil...
Wall clocks use a pendulum. In the small cuckoo clocks the pendulum swings twice for each second. In large grandfather clocks the pendulum swings once every two seconds. The two are different but, their objective is the same, to keep time.
They also contain many moving parts working independently of each other to achieve it's goal...
Though their sizes, shapes, and designs are not alike, and they move in other directions, they combine forces and keep the clock ticking.
"For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully." Romans 12:3-8 niv
Just as sure as those trickles of blood traveled the brow of our Saviour, he saw our sin sanctified hanging above those there on the ground and those yet to be born! The blood of Jesus washes all our pain away.
We have a bit of work to do for Him...
Be wise, be joy, and be love...
Michael...........
