THE TEBOW MINISTRY

This is the verse Tim Tebow had on his black out for today's game. And Vern Lungquist even read half of it on national TV. Was it just me or did anyone else feel amazed at how our God works. I sometimes think that those who will and do tell the world from WHOM ALL THEIR BLESSING FLOW, that they get more to talk about. Or maybe I just pay more attention to it. Reguardless, Tim Tebow rarely fails to give God the praise and thanks as publicly as he possibly can. We should make him an Honorary WILDMAN complete with a badge.

Hebrews 12: 1-2;
1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The course is already marked for us and we have a target to aim at, to be more Christlike. Lord help me to fix my eyes on You and follow your example. We will complete our mission...

One closing passage from 1 Corinthians 9: 24-26

24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
