another report

Not only was it a pleasure praying for this event. Being there was a special treat. If I had to give this weekend a title, I'd call it Manna from Heaven.
God showed up on all levels, and men from 1st timers, to leadership hearts were transformed . You couldnt possible have been there and not have your heart changed.
The tangible presence of the living God was all over us till the last moment.
Just when you thought you couldnt experience anything more" GOD", blew you away with another life changing moment.
The finally on sunday, of a woman who just lost her wildman, spoke with power on high, about a man who not only was an original wildman, but lived a life well done.
The legacy travis left, not only pushed you over the edge. It rained down hope, freedom, transference of faith, to his children, and all whom was in the room.
As I scanned the room, during this testimony, men were totally hanging in awe of what God could do threw a surrendered consecrated life, of rescuing his beauty,
protecting his family, and passing on the torch of greatness.
Gentlemen; WELL DONE.
If youve never experienced a Wildmen Bootcamp, Do not miss the next one. God will change your life. Mine will never be the same

another great story

Dear Mark and Wildmen,
I would like you to know how excited I was to be able to reserve a slot at this years bootcamp. Although, I had been the year before, i was sure it was going to be the same. I fought several battles the week of bootcamp, and I almost didn't go. The devil was working on me. Much to my surprise, I was wrong. The presentations were amazing and the time to process what we heard was a great touch. I didn't feel I was actually recieving anything, until I left. The Lord, open my heart to some amazing discoveries. I need to start consolidating the bags,(aka the baggage), in my life. It seems that not only am I carrying my baggage, but the baggage from others as well. Its amazing what things you find in your bags, health problems, relationships, grief, emotional scars, and so much more. I have to say as the days go by, after bootcamp, more and more things are coming clearer. Thank you for the opportunity to serve and to be touched by what was clearly a sucessful bootcamp. Pastor Rob

Message to our Intercessors

Where do I begin to tell you of all of the incredible stories of how you and your prayers impacted the Wildmen Boot Camp this weekend. It was sold out and men still wanted to just show up at the last minute. I hear that one man even slept on the floor. The Spirit of God spoke deeply into men's hearts. We witnessed the Father intimately draw men to himself during the sessions and in times of quiet reflection. Hearts where changed, relationships restored, brokenness healed, hope revived, families reconciled, warriors returned to their battle field to fight with all of their amour. Men who had checked-out of their relationships at home declared their reclaimed vision to rescue their beauty and have their household restored under Christ's banner of love. Seven men came to faith in Christ while at this event. Many more men even told of their wounded hearts being healed and of their breaking agreements. All bringing tears of joy because of your prayers.

One man said that he could not explain all that took place in his life this weekend. "It will take a lifetime". He wanted the team to know, that from the moment he arrived he felt as if he was in the middle of Ft. Knox so that he knew he was completely safe. He enjoyed all the sessions, the journaling and the fellowship of men. But nothing prepared him for what he experienced Saturday night and all Sunday morning. Sunday was the most powerful teaching of his life that has impacted his heart forever. He said, "it was as if an atom bomb went off in the room and there wasn't a man who wasn't effected in the same way". He went home and talked with his wife, crying, and then told me he still hasn't scratched the surface of what has happened in him!

Intercessors, I pray that you are richly rewarded by God for your prayer support and service for the Kingdom of God and the men of this Boot Camp weekend. There are so many reports and stories still coming, please continue to pray for the men through the next weekend.

As you know, it was extremely difficult to get to this Boot Camp weekend. This weekend was more round the clock work than other Boot Camps, however the result was in a word, a "privilege" to be there and to be His servant for this 66 hour expedition of heart, thank you for your faithful prayer support. The work of Christ and His Gospel is well worth the effort, please always remember this, may it be your Ebenezer. All for the honor and glory of God.

Love,
Mark

PS We’re still in awe over all that transpired this weekend and are still processing it all. As we get more reports and media we’ll post them on our web site http://WildmenMinistry.com and on our Facebook page

Communion on the Moon: July 20, 1969

Communion on the Moon: July 20, 1969

(This is an article by Eric Metaxas)

Forty years ago two human beings changed history by walking on the surface of the moon. But what happened before Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong exited the Lunar Module is perhaps even more amazing, if only because so few people know about it. "I'm talking about the fact that Buzz Aldrin took communion on the surface of the moon. Some months after his return, he wrote about it in Guideposts magazine.

And a few years ago I had the privilege of meeting him myself. I asked him about it and he confirmed the story to me, and I wrote about it in my book Everything You Always Wanted to Know About God (But Were Afraid to Ask).

The background to the story is that Aldrin was an elder at his Presbyterian Church in Texas during this period in his life, and knowing that he would soon be doing something unprecedented in human history, he felt he should mark the occasion somehow, and he asked his minister to help him. And so the minister consecrated a communion wafer and a small vial of communion wine. And Buzz Aldrin took them with him out of the Earth's orbit and on to the surface of the moon.

He and Armstrong had only been on the lunar surface for a few minutes when Aldrin made the following public statement: "This is the LM pilot. I'd like to take this opportunity to ask every person listening in, whoever and wherever they may be, to pause for a moment and contemplate the events of the past few hours and to give thanks in his or her own way." He then ended radio communication and there, on the silent surface of the moon, 250,000 miles from home, he read a verse from the Gospel of John, and he took communion. Here is his own account of what happened:

"In the radio blackout, I opened the little plastic packages which contained the bread and the wine. I poured the wine into the chalice our church had given me. In the one-sixth gravity of the moon, the wine slowly curled and gracefully came up the side of the cup.
Then I read the scripture, 'I am the vine, you are the branches. Whosoever abides in me will bring forth much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing.

I had intended to read my communion passage back to earth, but at the last minute [they] had requested that I not do this. NASA was already embroiled in a legal battle with Madelyn Murray O'Hare, the celebrated opponent of religion, over the Apollo 8 crew reading from Genesis while orbiting the moon at
Christmas. I agreed reluctantly.

I ate the tiny Host and swallowed the wine. I gave thanks for the intelligence and spirit that had brought two young pilots to the Sea of Tranquility . It was interesting for me to think: the very first liquid ever poured on the moon, and the very first food eaten there, were the communion elements.

And of course, it's interesting to think that some of the first words spoken on the moon were the words of Jesus Christ, who made the Earth and the moon - and Who, in the immortal words of Dante, is Himself the "Love that moves the Sun and other stars."

Be stong in the Lord

Ephesians 5
1 Follow Gods example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God... Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you. 15 Be very careful, then, how you livenot as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lords will is.
Ephesians 6 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lords people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

We desire to be alert, fully and completely submitted to God and his mission. This is where we are most dangerous for good.

Are you strong enough

Health update and Prayer Request

Brothers,
As many of you may know, I suffered a serious injury Friday night. I ruptured (tore completely in two) the Achilles tendon in my left leg. Immediately after suffering the injury, while still on the field, I knew that this was from the enemy in an attempt to take me out. That isn't going to happen!

You see, 23 years ago, I suffered the same injury to my right leg. I was immobilized from the waist down for 6-months and spent another six months getting my strength back. There was three feet of snow on the ground, we lived in a three-story condo, both kids were toddlers, and I had a dog that ran away everytime you let it outside. Needless to say, it was a terrible year for Jeen and I. Satan meant for all of that to come back to my wife and I with this injury as well - the discouragement, the fights, being physically exhausted, financially strapped, all of it...

That is not the case this time however. Yes, the injury is the same, but our hearts are not. Yes, it will require surgery and long months of rehab. Yes, I won't be able to run again until after Easter and will be greatly limited physically. Praise God! The victory is mine says the Lord!

Men, this Boot Camp is going to be special in a way and manner that we haven't even dreamed of. Somebody is going to come to know Jesus. Somebody will be set free. Somebody's marriage will be restored. There will be reconciliation and forgiveness asked for and given among the brothers. That's just the tip of the iceberg - that is just what I know God has shown me. Wow!

The opportunity we have been given to share the love of God with these men is both priceless and a privilege -we must not, we cannot, take our responsibility lightly. Lives literally hang in the balance...

I have elected to postpone surgery on my leg until after the camp so that I might be there with you all. That decision brings with it some additional consequences: due to the possibility of DVT (deep vein thombosis) and embolisms, the doctor has advised me not to travel - but I believe God has called me to drive the 1600 miles RT so that I may share what has been placed upon my heart, and that He will protect me as I travel. Additionally, to stay fully alert and attentive, I do not want to take my pain meds while I am driving. That is a problem because this injury has been very painful (morphine,etc.). I am trusting that God will control the pain until I get to Mark's house tomorrow night and can take my meds.

Please pray for a journey tomorrow where God will protect me physically from any medical emergency as I travel and that He will control the pain. Also, please pray that the decision to wait on surgery will not cause any further damage to my leg. Lastly, please pray for comfort and peace for my lovely wife Jeen.

I cannot wait to look into the eyes of the men God has brought to this camp and share with them the precious love He has shown to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. See you Thursday!

I Love You,
Scott

Boot Camp

Today as we are meeting getting ready to the upcoming Boot Camp it is clear to me that this is going to be a great event. The devil is not happy and is attacking on every frount. He know how to exploit the weekness in our lives and the people in our lives. May God Bless and protect all the men.

If your are looking to get closer to your Heavenly Father this is an opportunity for you to get closer to him.

Marrage Restoration Prayer

Our Marriage Restoration Prayer
Dear Lord, we pray for your very special blessings on every visitor to this site, because we know it’s a broken heart, a troubled spirit, or a longing for the comfort and answers so desperately needed in a time of marital despair that brings them here. Your word tells us that from the very beginning, You created marriage as a one flesh covenant relationship; that what You joined together, no man should separate or put asunder, and that You hate divorce. It also promises us that You will heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds, that You will comfort all who mourn, and that You will bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. So we thank You that instead of shame or disgrace, they will rejoice in their inheritance, that they will inherit a double portion in their lives, and that everlasting joy will be theirs, as You restore the marriages Satan came to destroy. Teach them to approach your throne of grace with confidence, so they will receive the mercy and find the grace to help them in their time of need.

We thank You that all things are possible with You, Lord Jesus, and that You, and You alone, give us peace that transcends all understanding. And we thank You for your promise that no wisdom, no insight and no plan can succeed against You, that the gates of hell will not prevail against us, and that NO weapon formed against our marriages will prosper, because we are your servants. And since your word assures us that the hearts of our beloved spouses are in your hand, and that You will direct their hearts like a watercourse wherever You please, we know they can’t plan or understand their own way, because it is You who will determine and direct their steps. Therefore, we ask You to teach us how to express our faith with love, because your word tells us that unfailing love is what everyone desires.

Lord, we ask You to work in us to will and act according to your good purpose. We believe You and are your disciples, and we want to understand and hold to your teachings so we will know the truth and let it set us free. Thank You for your word, because it is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path. You are our refuge and our shield, so we put our hope in your word.

Since faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, please help us to live by faith and not shrink back so You will be pleased with us, because we know it’s impossible to please You without faith. And your word teaches us that whatever we ask in prayer, and believe, we will receive, and that we are to walk by faith and not by sight. Jesus, You even said that according to our faith it will be done to us. So, Lord, we ask You to please give us the faith and patience necessary to inherit what You have promised.

And never let us forget that we don’t live by the standards of this world. We live in the world, but we don’t wage war as the world does. So we thank You that the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. They are mighty weapons to demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of You, our God, and the covenant of our marriages, so we must take captive every thought and make them obedient to Christ.

Always remind us that we need not be afraid, for You are with us. We need not be dismayed, for You are our God. You will strengthen us. You will help us. You will uphold us and our marriages with your righteous right hand. And all those who are incensed against us and the sanctity of our marriages will be as nothing, they will be ashamed and disgraced. Those who contend with us and those who war with us, will be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing, for You, the Lord our God, will hold our right hand, saying to us “Fear not, I will help you.”

So teach us to always rest in the confidence we have in You, because your word tells us that it will be richly rewarded. And give us the strength and grace to persevere so that when we have done your will, we will receive what You have promised. And help us keep your commandments and do those things that are pleasing in Your sight, so that whatever we ask we will receive from You, including the restoration of our marriages.

Please give us the faith that enables us to speak to our mountains and make them move, and the confidence assuring us that all things are possible in Christ Jesus. We thank You, Lord, for your promise that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and That with You, nothing is impossible, including living our lives full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, even during this time of trouble, which your word assures us You will turn into a gateway of hope. And we thank You that your Spirit intercedes for us, your saints, in accordance with your will, and that You cause all things to work together for good to those who love You, and who are called according to your purpose. So we thank You for your promise that your thoughts and plans for us are thoughts and plans for our welfare and peace and not for evil, and to give us hope in our final outcome. And we thank You, Lord, that when we are still, we will know that You are God and that You will be exalted in all the earth.

And we thank You for the comfort we have in knowing that to our spouses belong the plans of the heart, but from You comes the reply of the tongue, and that the words of your mouth will not return to You empty; that they will accomplish what You desire and the purpose for which You sent them! And we thank You for the assurance that You honor and uphold the covenant of marriage made when You witnessed our marriage vows, and that YOU will defend them against the treachery of unfaithfulness, divorce and remarriage.

For all of this, we ask and give thanks in the most precious and powerful name and authority in all of heaven and earth, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

A Prayer For Today

Dear Lord, You know better than anyone else that this might be a difficult day for some visiting our website today, and for many others who are experiencing challenging times in their marriages, so we pray that they will feel Your love in a very special way. May they be rooted and grounded in your love today, Lord, May the experience and feel the wonder and power of your amazing grace and love. May this not be a day of sadness or despair; but a day of rejoicing, because we KNOW You LOVE us and YOU have ALL things that concern us in the control of Your Almighty hand.

Lord, we pray that on this day which might otherwise tend to be discouraging, that You will bring some special incident of hope and encouragement to each man and woman reading this prayer. We know You care about us in every detail of our lives and many of us have experienced that down to even the smallest of details, so bless us with Your presence and encouragement today. Fill each of us with an extra measure of faith this day, Lord. Help us to keep our eyes on you and not on our circumstances. Help us enjoy the many things You bless us with every day of our lives instead of dwelling on that one thing we don’t have or enjoy at this time. Show us how to express Your love by loving others, especially those who are not treating us with love. Let us be even more focused on the love we demonstrate and give to others rather than concerning ourselves with how others may or may not love us. Let us walk in love today and always that You might be glorified in us.

And Lord, please touch the hearts of our spouses who are not walking in right relationship with You today. It is the greatest desire of our hearts that they know You as Lord and Savior, and there are many of us who don’t have the comfort of knowing that our spouses are saved, so our prayer for them is that Your Holy spirit will move in their hearts and lives today in a most powerful, supernatural way and bring them to the saving knowledge of You, Lord Jesus. We know You came to set the captives free, and many of our spouses live in bondage of some kind today, so we come against all manner of sin, bondage, strongholds, deception, adultery, disobedience and unbelief in the name of Jesus Christ, from which we know Satan must flee. We cover our loved ones with the blood of the Lamb today and it is the word of our testimony that they will be saved and that they will walk in right relationship with You, Lord, which we know is the only way they will ever walk in right relationship with us and others. We pray that they will se You in us, Lord Jesus, and that all of our interaction with them will glorify You. Let us always remember that our interaction with them will either lead them to You or away from you because we are Your representatives here on earth.

Be Thou glorified in this day that You have made Lord, Let us rejoice and be glad in it! Let Your love shine in and through us today! We love and adore You, Lord Jesus, and it is in Your most precious name and powerful authority that we pray. Amen.

Why does god Bless Us

Why God Blesses
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 1 by Os Hillman
Friday, September 16 2011

"And David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and that his kingdom had been highly exalted for the sake of His people Israel." 1 Chronicles 14:2

King David learned an important lesson every leader must learn if he is to ensure God's continual blessing. He knew why God blessed him. It wasn't because he deserved it, though he was a man who sought God with his whole heart. It wasn't because of his great skill, though he was a great military strategist. It wasn't because he was perfect, for he committed some horrible sins during his reign as king. No, it was for none of these reasons. God blessed David for the "sake of His people Israel." God never blesses an individual just for that person's exclusive benefit. God calls each of us to be a blessing to others. So often we forget this last part. R.G. LeTourneau, a businessman who built heavy construction equipment, came to realize this only after God took him through many trials. Once the Lord had all of LeTourneau, he came to realize that the question wasn't whether he gave 10 percent of what the Lord gave him. Rather, the question was, "What amount does He want me to keep?" LeTourneau was known for giving 90 percent of his income toward the end of his career and was a great supporter of world missions. But the Lord doesn't bless workplace believers just for the ability to give financially. God has given workplace believers many more gifts beyond the financial.

What is happening with the spiritual fruit of God's blessing on your life? Is it clogged, or is it freely flowing to others? Ask the Lord to free you to be a blessing to those in your circle of influence.

be and overcomer

Being An Overcomer
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 1 by Os Hillman
Tuesday, July 26 2011

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
"Why does it seem that those involved in Christian enterprise find the way so hard? It seems as though it is harder for those who are committed Christians in business. Have you found this to be true?" This was the comment from a business associate recently. My answer was a definite yes. In fact, if you were not a Christian and sought to do a similar business without regard to maintaining a biblical philosophy, the way would be much smoother sailing. It makes us think of the prophet who asked, "Why do the wicked prosper?" (see Jer. 12:1)
It is a spiritual principle of which we speak. When the Israelites crossed the Jordan before they entered the Promised Land, they fought only two battles. Then after they entered the Promised Land, they fought 39 battles. The way of the cross is not paved with lilies; it is paved with grace. When we seek to honor God in our business life, we will be met with opposition from the spiritual forces of this world. This is why each of us must commit ourselves to walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and to be as gentle as doves but as wise as serpents.
Do not be surprised when you find the way harder as a believer than when you were a non-believer. You now have more at stake among the spiritual forces that desire you to be defeated and ineffective.
Stand firm against the evil forces that desire to keep you from walking in freedom in the Promised Land. Jesus is your victory for every battle you will encounter. Call on His name.
