"Individual Attention"

Brothers,



I've known this to be true for a long time, applying it is another thing. The importance of individual attention to others that is. There have been so many instances in the new position I'm working at that examples this. We have customers, project-managers, property managers, and our own staff that all require "individual attention," it's a must. It has made me take a closer look at the prior knowledge and apply it to my spiritual life. I wish I could tell you my spiritual life lead me to do this in my work life but, I have a worldly-heart and not a Holy one like Christ...

In each of these cases, one feels a sense of fulfillment when getting this sort of care and concern. As I think of the Lord, He doesn't need anything from me or you, He has it all but, it's what He wants and expects. His love and hope for us is that we give Him the "individual attention" for us not Him, and that is love and grace!

"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives it's name. I pray that out of His glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:14-19

My little girl was trying to tell me something while I was working on something, get the visual? She finally began to poke me in the belly to get my attention and look at her...

I don't want the Lord to ever have to do that to me. We may want to think about how we extend our "individual attention!"

New Thursday Bible Study Starting

Do Whatever Brings You Back to Your Heart and the Heart of God
Against the flesh, the traitor within, a warrior uses discipline. We have a two-dimensional version of this now, which we call a "quiet time." But most men have a hard time sustaining any sort of devotional life because it has no vital connection to recovering and protecting their strength; it feels about as important as flossing. But if you saw your life as a great battle and you knew you needed time with God for your very survival, you would do it. Maybe not perfectly-nobody ever does and that's not the point anyway-but you would have a reason to seek him. We give a halfhearted attempt at the spiritual disciplines when the only reason we have is that we "ought" to. But we'll find a way to make it work when we are convinced we're history if we don't.

Time with God each day is not about academic study or getting through a certain amount of Scripture or any of that. It's about connecting with God. We've got to keep those lines of communication open, so use whatever helps. Sometimes I'll listen to music; other times I'll read Scripture or a passage from a book; often I will journal; maybe I'll go for a run; then there are days when all I need is silence and solitude and the rising sun. The point is simply to do whatever brings me back to my heart and the heart of God.

The discipline, by the way, is never the point. The whole point of a "devotional life" is connecting with God. This is our primary antidote to the counterfeits the world holds out to us.

The older Christian wedding vows contained these amazing words: "With my body, I thee worship." Maybe our forefathers weren't so prudish after all; maybe they understood sex far better than we do. To give yourself over to another, passionately and nakedly, to adore that person body, soul, and spirit-we know there is something special, even sacramental about sex. It requires trust and abandonment, guided by a wholehearted devotion. What else can this be but worship? After all, God employs explicitly sexual language to describe faithfulness (and unfaithfulness) to him. For us creatures of the flesh, sexual intimacy is the closest parallel we have to real worship. Even the world knows this. Why else would sexual ecstasy become the number one rival to communion with God? The best impostors succeed because they are nearly indistinguishable from what they are trying to imitate. We worship sex because we don't know how to worship God. But we will.

We have grown cynical, as a society, about whether intimacy is really possible. To the degree that we have abandoned soul-one-ness, we have sought out merely sex, physical sex, to ease the pain. But the full union is no longer there; the orgasm comes incomplete; its heart has been taken away. Many have been deeply hurt. Sometimes, we must learn from what we have not known, let it teach us what ought to be.

God's design was that the two shall become one flesh. The physical oneness was meant to be the expression of a total interweaving of being. Is it any wonder that we crave this? Our alienation is removed, if only for a moment, and in the paradox of love, we are at the same time known and yet taken beyond ourselves.

Jose got home yesterday, he is tired but feeling good and wants to THANK all of you for his pray covering. He loves you all and is looking forward to being back in the ranks soon.

He is going to be down for a while so if you want to help him or drop off a meal please give him a call. He is not asking for anything, and probably never would but if you feel led to help him, take that urging and run with it.

I am reminded of a story from the book God Guides, where God told this missionary to bring a egg to one of her workers who she was cross with. She ignored God and came home and there was a Chicken in her house and laid an egg right in front of her (they were in India and doors were open)

She took the further prodding and brought the egg to her co worker but was embarrassed and had her son bring in the egg. Later that night the co workers showed up at the missionary’s house and asked how you knew to bring me an egg. That day there was not enough food for the kids and me so I went without and that egg was so good and filling, how did you know that I needed it?

God works in mysterious ways and if you are open he will use you.

Brothers:

For all of you that have links and those that do not I am asking you to pray…. Pray for your brothers, your family and for the family of Christ. We are all in need of prayer on one level or another but this week I have already seen the need for prayer.
Our brother Jose is still in the hospital, he is doing fine but still fighting with the Nausea and some stomach issues and we need to keep him covered in prayer. One of our other brothers is making some great personal strives but is still being attacked. Another friend found out that her cancer has spread and she was in a lot of pain this weekend.

My 42 year old cousin died Saturday night from Cancer. He was a NYPD first responder to 911 and like many of the police and firemen that are now fighting cancer from what they inhaled at the site he is now with the lord. I am happy that he is now in Paradise but I am worried about his Mother who is not handling it well and I do not know if she is a believer so I am asking prayer for her.

I woke up today to find a half of inch of water throughout half of the house, the great thing was that my wife and I did fight or argue. I said to her that God must have something special in store for us this week for Satin to be attacking so hard and to my surprise she said: “I was thinking the same thing” what a praise…. Compared to where we were a few years ago. Thank you God.

I could go on all day about the Prayer Requests but God know them what we need to do is simply take the TIME to pray and ask our Father to help and let him know how much we love him and need him.

"So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision, I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless." - Daniel 10:8
Daniel received a vision that troubled him greatly. He wanted understanding of this vision. He set himself out to understand the vision by fasting for three weeks. Three days after his three weeks of fasting, a messenger of God appeared to Daniel. The messenger explained that Heaven had heard his prayer from the first day, but the angel was temporarily prevented from coming by the prince of Persia, a demon angel, who sought to thwart God's messenger from coming to Daniel.

There are times in our lives when we must set ourselves to seeking God with all our hearts. It is in these times that we hear from Heaven in ways we may never have experienced before. Daniel's perseverance in prayer was rewarded with a personal encounter with Heaven. However, in order to receive from God, Daniel had to be left alone, have his strength removed, and be placed in a helpless condition. When we have no ability in our own strength to move Heaven or the events around us, we are in position to hear from Heaven. It is the acknowledgment of our humanity and our frailness that places us in a position to have a personal encounter with the living God.

Do you need a personal encounter with God today? Do you need God to intervene on your behalf? Seek Him with all your heart. Demonstrate to Him you are serious. Get alone and acknowledge your helpless condition before Him. He will reward you with His presence.

IMPORTANT Prayer Request for our Brother

Tomorrow at 9:00 one of our brothers Jose Macias will be donating one of his Kidneys to his cousin who has been on Dialysis for the past five years. Her name is Laura Hernandez and I am asking you all to STOP what you are doing at 9:00 AM Tomorrow and say a special prayer for our brother Jose, Laura, the doctors and the nurses so that all goes according to Gods plan.

He will be at Tampa General till Sunday in recovery, if you want to send him a message his email is josefjc@yahoo.com or you can call him at 941 224 0833 and lift him up.

God Is With Us

God Is with Us
Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous . . . Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. (Josh. 1:6-7, 9)

Joshua knew what it was to be afraid. For years he had been second in command, Moses' right-hand man. But now it was his turn to lead. The children of Israel weren't just going to waltz in and pick up the Promised Land like a quart of milk; they were going to have to fight for it. And Moses was not going with them. If Joshua was completely confident about the situation, why would God have had to tell him over and over and over again not to be afraid? In fact, God gives him a special word of encouragement: "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Josh. 1:5). How was God "with Moses"? As a mighty warrior. Remember the plagues? Remember all those Egyptian soldiers drowned with their horses and chariots out there in the Red Sea? It was after that display of God's strength that the people of Israel sang, "The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name" (Ex. 15:3). God fought for Moses and for Israel; then he covenanted to Joshua to do the same, and they took down Jericho and every other enemy.

Bill Gates

Love him or hate him , he sure hits the nail on the head with this!

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1 : Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2 : The world doesn't care about your
self-esteem.. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.

Rule 6 : If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault , so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7 : Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now.. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9 : Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10 : Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11 : Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Prayer Requests

Brothers:

It seems that every day I am asked to pray for someone fighting Cancer. Today one of our closest friends got the report that her chemo therapy is not working and that her cancer has spread. Keith our music ministry leader is fighting cancer as well. I ask you all to pray for all our brothers and sisters that are fighting and ask that God the ultimate healer will bless them and cure them.

For all of our family members (we are all in Gods family) may he protect us and we plead the blood of Jesus over them and ask for protection and comfort as we deal with sickness and loss in our lives. May Gods loving hands comfort us and the members of the family as they face these medical challenges and that they may know your love.

In Jesus name we pray....

Wildmen and Guns


























The Lord blessed us with a nearly perfect day for our first Trap and Skeet Shoot. In all around 12 men showed up and blasted the clays. We will certainly be scheduling another shoot in the future. By the way, is anyone else suffering from a fear of mayonnaise?

I want to share this with you because as some of you know I recently went through a very tough time and almost lost my business and God rescued me. I have been walking with him and have see miraculous things and below is an email from a company that I have been trying to close a deal with for over a year. He has come back and is going to pay me twice what I was asking. If that is not God’s blessing and involvement nothing is.

I think I'm not as worried about dollar-for-dollar bartering. I usually just say what I want, they say what they want, we agree and do it. the fees/rates are a reference point to me, but that's about all. $1,750 per month doesn't get you very much with me...but the value of what you would be doing makes it that I can give you, say, double that in my $$$s. Whatever the dollar value of all you proposed to me, just tell me what you want in return (specifically) and if I can do it, I will. If it's win-win and long term, the actually $$$s NOT spent or collected will be meaningless.

What will you be offering in the advertising? If you're advertising for dealers to take advantage of your services, no problemo. If you're advertising to vendors to market to dealers, that is getting into money that WE are going after. Not a problem if we're competing for the same dollars...just don't know that it makes sense for me to help promote my "competition".

Also, re: booths...if we have an extra...costs me very little to give it to you. If I have one person on a waiting list...and you have a 10x20 booth...I just lost $7,995 in revenue and my salesperson lost commission. We need to work out some way that if I have it avaulable, you can have it, but if not, the booth has to be paid for. Or we leave the booth out altogether. Either way, I can boost your presence by making you a sponsor of something (little cost to me).

Let me know your thoughts on these items...nothing major IMO, just some details to address at this point.

When God shows up

I am never disappointed because God always shows up, time after time at Wildmen in the small groups he is there. Last night, we were at a table with a man whose wife had filed for divorce, he went to the retreat and came away a new man but when he ran into his wife the wheels fell off the bus and you can imagine he was down.

Sitting at the table was a brother that I have known for a while and he opened up and shared that he had been there. Not only was I completely unaware of this chapter in his life I was blown away by how open and transparent he was.....

God will test you so that you can be a testimony.

His willingness to step out and share was wonderful to watch.... I love seeing what God can do in the lives of men when we put aside our pride and let His love shine through.

May God Richly bless these men and restore their families in Jesus Name I Pray.

Today I spoke with someone that was telling me a different version of what happened when Jesus called out to Lasarus when he was in the tomb? It had to do with the fact that it was in hebrew and that Lasarus in Hebrew means something special?

Post Boot Camp and this weeks events

We had close to 90 men attend the Boot Camp this past weekend. The experience was nothing short of amazing! We surveyed the attendees at the end and the comments were filled with the glory of what God had done in the men's lives. At the end of the camp, many of the men were shouting loudly about the freedom they had found in Christ.

On Thursday, the REAL Men studies continue with Don Bailey leading the

How do we view the Spiritual armor in Ephesians 6:12?

Do we place such a high priority on it that we put it on daily?

How do we put it on?

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Let’s take a look at each piece.

Ephesians 6:14-18
{14} Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist…
“Please let me see where I have been believing a lie and let me live in truth.”
 John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
 John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

…with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
“My rightness with God is what Jesus did on the cross, not whether I sinned today. My position with him is no different after my sin than before. I confess and continue to proceed. There is no “two steps backward and one step forward”. My righteousness IS Christ abiding and living in me.”
 Rom 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

{15}…and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
“Lord use me today somehow, some way whether to encourage, exhort or share Christ. Put nails through the bottom of my shoes so that I am immovable.”
 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction.
 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

{16} In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
“I step behind the shield of faith the size of a door…my increased faith is making it a wall around me. I will exhibit great faith as the Holy Spirit grants this.”
 1 Corinthians 12:7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good…9 to another faith by the same Spirit…
 Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
 2 Corinthians 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight.

{17} Take the helmet of salvation
“I pray that I would capture every thought and make it obedient to Christ. That I would speak statements full of faith, and trust in what God has spoken to me that He will give and provide.”
 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
 Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

… and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
“This sword reaches up to heaven, in the heavenly places and I use it to do battle with the enemy and the kingdom of darkness advancing the Kingdom of Light.”
 Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
 Matthew 4:10 Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'"
 Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly ...
 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

{18} And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
“Holy Spirit pray through me now and throughout today.”
 Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
James 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

When coming into spiritual warfare, fighting by prayer for a loved one, a missionary trip, a ministry in the church, a prayer burden...you will have backlash. This is GOOD. When the enemy fights back and all hell breaks loose around you know you are doing good for the Lord. You are right where you are supposed to be...on your knees standing in the gap for your loved ones, friend, missionary members, ministry, church, pastor...

This is a validation that the kingdom of light is battling the kingdom of darkness and if the enemy can re-assign demons to your life, your walk, your situations and get you to GIVE UP PRAYING, then he will have succeeded.

Once you have pleaded the blood of Jesus over you and your family and have asked the Lord to cover you in Jesus, you have used your "Shield of Faith". You are standing in faith.

But notice in this text we are to put on "the FULL armor". Now it is time to offensively approach this attack while remaining steadfast in our prayer for the recipient. We do this by openly speaking God's word..." the sword of the Spirit, which is THE WORD OF GOD.".

The devil is a defeated foe and he only gains ground in our life through fear and intimidation. This is what causes us to stop praying, to stop sharing, and to stop ministering. So as he begins his assault on you, pick up your sword and use it. Speak it out loud so he can hear it. Here are scriptures that we can write on a 3x5 card and use on his next assault.

Psalms 91:9-13 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge— 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

Let's aggressively approach the assignment God gives us to pray for, a prayer burden, or someone that is going on a mission trip that asks us to pray for them and their team, a lost relative or co-worker, ministries, our pastors or whoever and whatever the Lord lays on our heart. When we are faithful to do so and the enemy validates your effectiveness of your prayers by his backlash let’s keep standing pleading the blood of Christ and using God's word, His word, to fight him so you can stand in the gap and pray and bring glory to your savior Jesus Christ by advancing the Kingdom of Light!

Well, my personal attack came early on after shortly walking through the door. The Holy Spirit didn't grab my tongue as soon as I would have liked, but did bring correction and healing through an honest apology. Rest of the weekend went well, in fact awesome!

My wife had a Captivating Women's group in our home Saturday night; me and the dog were locked into the back bedroom for 3 hours. Dog peed on the floor as soon as door was opened, Oh well. She taught on the "Root of Bitterness" made by vows and agreements made when girls are young and hurt by their Mother's. After they all wrote their hurt and burned it (papers, with frankencise and myrhh). They said they flame made a swirl, then looked like a small funnel, and then a Tornado, and then shot into the air. Wow. I heard crying and then she gave them all the Prayer of Healing and started reciting it out loud. Awesome to hear women in unison praying and getting louder as their faith grew.

Brian and I taught on faith. I told everyone what if God starts talking to you and giving you direction be ready to relaease everything you are holding onto to follow it.

This past weekend was off the charts.... God showed up in so many ways and for so many of the men. I have personally attended 2Boot camps in Colorado and I found myself moved to tears with some of the content. I know that I am a big baby but when God shows you the truth it hurts.
