It ain't rocket science.

REAL Men Bible Study
K.I.S.S.
1/28/10

My bible has 2375 pages, and a lot of commentary.
Today there are countless books to explain how to be “Christlike.”
The 'LAW' of the Jews had over 600 laws to strictly follow to earn salvation.
Jesus narrowed it down to two, and he only preached for a few of years.

Believe / Receive
John 3; 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Repentance / Baptism
Acts 2; 36"Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." 37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" 38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."

Follow Me
Matthew 16; 24Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. (Luke 9:23 add's the word daily)

Love Me / Love Others
Deuteronomy 6; 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.

Matthew 22; 36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Share It
Mark 16; 15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
