Update and Prayer Request

Hello All………….John’s surgery was moved up to today……….answered prayer PTL………here’s the latest.



John went in for surgery at 3:30 and came out at 5:00 pm. The Oral Surgeon said that the infection was more severe than he even thought….it had compromised the bone around the implant so badly that it just popped up and out – no unscrewing needed. Usually they have to put some torque on these things to back them out. L The degree of infection also caused him to chisel out a very large part of John’s jaw bone until he got to healthy bone…………the pain was so intense, John came out of anesthesia a couple of times during the procedure and more had to be administered. I hated hearing that……..like he hasn’t had enough of that already! The bone is now packed with the synthesized protein from the bottom up……….it’s a good 4 -5 weeks of healing time. John is back to 7-8 degree pain level tonight – still in the temple, ear, eyes, jaw..………Doc said it’s a waiting game now………to see if his pain recedes because of the infection being addressed by this procedure and antibiotics. If it doesn’t………we’re left with the Trigeminal Neuralgia diagnosis. UGH!



We’re choosing to believe and ask the Lord with ALL CONFIDENCE that this infection was the culprit all along…..that John be completely healed of ALL infection, and the radiating pain symptoms of Trigeminal Neuralgia BE GONE!

We are truly grateful for the body of believers the Lord has surroundings us through this and past trials. You have been beyond faithful in prayer for us. John and I know by His design life is experiencing trials, troubles, and hardships in this fallen world and enduring them – He does what I call “hurt so good” pruning in us during these times- it’s sanctification through the fire…………..knowing how persistent MY sin nature is………..there can never be enough pruning going on. J Lord, continue your work in us Lord………just give us the strength and endurance to persevere to your purposes and your glory. We know you haven’t left us…………you are carrying us. We trust you.
