Have you ever heard of jabez? Well in Hebrew that means pain and for a mother to name her son pain is not a good thing. Can you imagine going through life being named pain. I thought Peter was bad.
He believed in the God of Moses who delivered the people and knew that he served a powerful God and he simply asked God to bless him indeed. Many times we do not have because we do not ask.
