Our Friend and Brother Keith Martin Passed Today

Keith Martin is now with the Lord and as we celebrate his life please keep his family in your prayers. Keith was our worshop leader at Woodlands and a Great Man of God and he will be greatly missed. I am proud to have known him and to be able to call him a friend. Below is a post from his wife:

Friday, July 15
Early this morning, my sweet Keith was ushered into the presence of Jesus. It happened faster than we had expected, but God was merciful. Yesterday evening, he was struggling so much to breathe. While he was trying to sleep, I told God, "Please go ahead and take him. He's fought so hard." I found out later that Paul had actually prayed the same thing when he was sitting with Keith. So, at 1:06 this morning that is what happened. Josh, Bethany and I were all with him. I am heartbroken but thankful, as he was really beginning to suffer.

As I sat by him and looked at his worn out earthly shell, I was in awe to know that he is now in the presence of Jesus. And without a doubt he is hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

As I close I want to leave you with this passage of scripture:

Revelation 22:1-4
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

I miss him desperately already, but I am very envious of all he is experiencing right now. Thank you, dear friends for the way you poured out your love on him this past week.
