Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessings that You've given us thus far. Thank You that we are graced to live in a nation which still has religious freedom.
Thank You that our leaders are still permitted public professions of faith in You. Please grant to our leaders, in national, state, local, civil, and employment a conscience guided by Your principles. Direct their steps whether they claim to know You or not.
Thank You for those men and women who selflessly serve in our military so that freedom has a chance worldwide. Grant them Your protection and comfort.
May we all diligently seek to embody the attributes, attitudes, and behaviors of Your blessed Son Jesus. May we love You with all of our hearts, minds, and souls, and may we love others as we love ourselves. For if we do these things we can have a happy Nation. I ask this in the mighty authority of Your Son Jesus. Amen.
