Frank and Billy, Cambodia Update

Hello Partners, Friends, and Prayer warriors,

The Hunsader part of our team left the country last night (6 of them). The 4 of us now remain; Billy and I and a couple from Orlando with Campus Crusade.

We are meeting in strategy sessions with the Cambodian and Philippine staff to talk about the future country plans for evangelism and discipleship. We are looking at how to best enter into the business community and meet influence leaders who can more quickly have an inroad to developing spiritual leadership[ for the future. The military has a plan and start, but business is waiting.
There is a tremendous amount of influence being seen from Korea, Germany and other countries now as their is much economic buildup going on here. Even with the world economies struggling there are numerous large 30 story condo buildings going up. We are meeting tonight for dinner with the Japanese engineer who is building the tallest building in Cambodia. He is not a believer, but his daughter is. He wants us to talk with his young engineers about business practices. What an opportunity to talk about strong foundations for buildings and our spiritual lives and the common qualities. We will go tomorrow to visit the skyscraper with him and meet more of his staff on the job.

We will be meeting with a group of young professionals Saturday morning for breakfast to talk about spiritual things. Then Sunday morning we meet with the Soldiers again to follow up with them.

I just got the word we have to meet the Japanese engineer across town now, so we must leave immediately.

Your reporter form Southeast Asia,

Frank
