Sexual immorality is all around us and is in my opinion is the Devils Number One Weapon against us. Very few men that I know have not wrestled with pornography, lust and sins of the heart. Everywhere we look we are bombarded with sexual images and you know the old saying “we are men that is the way we are wired”. That is NOT true, God did not create us that way and nor are we supposed to simply accept it.

I have an older friend, he is like Obi One from Star Wars for me and this is a man that has an incredible love and relationship with God. One day he told me a story about how when he walks on the beach with his wife and a beautiful bikini clad woman comes strolling by he turns his head and Looks Away. He then shared with me that one day his wife thanked him for doing that. Yes, she had noticed. Is that not the love that Christ describes in the bible that we should have for our wives?

Are you a “Casual Eye Guy” the guy that scopes our every chick that walks buy and mentally undresses them? Thinking that taking that Casual Glimpse no one will see and it will not hurt anyone. WRONG…. God sees everything and the one that it hurts is you because it damages your relationship with your Father. It also damages your relationship with your wife because they do notice and it maybe years before it ever effects your marriage but someday it will. Why not follow the bible and love our wives as Jesus so loved the church.

In our walk with God the bible says “Draw close to God and God will draw close to you” but that can be hindered by sin. Are you happy with your walk? Maybe it is time to search your heart.

I am sharing this with you my brothers because I am a reformed “casual eye guy” and the club is looking for new members. It will change your walk with God.
